Best beauty school
I want to go to beauty school, will need to take a loan for tution. Will attend full time so not alot of time for work. I need to make a round $14-$18 an hour for about 25 hours a week.
I have also decided to go to hair school. I want to go full time so I plan on cutting down my hours as a waitress.
I work at a nice (not fancy) restaurant in Oklahoma City and do pretty well. It is mostly easy once you get the hang of it and if you are money hungry, knowledgable, and work at a well liked place you can make a lot. Your hours will be really flexible. I would say I average 500-700 a week no problem. I think I work about 25 hours.
I think it would be worth checking out. That is also what my succesful hairdresser did throughout school.Good Luck.

Best beauty school
any ideas whats the Best beauty school to go to the lu ross academy in ventura or modern beauty academy in oxnard! I would like the feed back please.
Congratulations on choosing beauty school. I know that cosmetology and beauty careers are some of the fastest growing in 2009, according to US News & World Report.
It looks like Modern Beauty Academy in Oxnard offers pretty extensive training in cosmetology, hairstyling, nail technology and cosmetology teacher training programs. They are accredited and eligible for Title IV financial aid programs. They definitely get you well on your way to a successful, rewarding, lucrative career in cosmetology.
There’s more information about Modern Beauty Academy at the link below, plus there’s a button to request more info from them at the bottom – definitely check it out! I was unable to find similar information about Lu Ross. I hope this helps!

National Academy Beauty Arts has three beauty college campuses in the area of St. Louis, Missouri. They are a nationally accredited college, which means students can qualify for loans or Pell grants to fund their studies. They see over 1,000 clients per week, so each student has ample opportunities to learn the skills and become a sought after cosmetologist.

Best beauty school
**** Please note this is the owner of this accounts sister*****
Beauty amazes me and I would love to give people hair cuts, do make overs and stuff like that.
I also want to go to college, because that’s just something you need todo. I want to major in acting and take teaching classes so I could maybe be a teacher.
But is it posible to go to college then after to to beauty school on the same day?
How long does beauty school usually take untill u graduate??
hey sister,
Since hair stylist are not on salary nor do they get paid hourly, its all on the person. It really depends what shop you are at, your clientel and your prices. On average, you have to pay rent to the shop, its for your booth, depending on the city or state it can be high or low. I own a salon, I charge $150 a week for rent. So If you do 10 hair styles in a week for $60 thats $600 a week you make plus tips….minus $150 (rent) thats for a bad week! Beauty school is about 10 months long depending on how fast you work and learn, classes are offered day and night so yes you can go to regular college as well. I did both I went to UCLA Tuesdays and Thursdays and I had beauty college Monday, Wednesday, Friday!! It was crazy but it can be done!! Good luck and stick to your goals!! -Beleza

My two friends and I are going to get our hair done for homecoming at a beauty school salon. We all have from 2 inches to 5 inches past our shoulders. We all have relatively thick hair. I’m pretty sure we all want our hair up and curled. We won’t need our hair washed, just styled.

Best beauty school
I am an expecting mother and I’m due this November. I really want to go to beauty school in January and I know being a new mom I won’t be able to work and go to school full time. How many grants am I eligible for and how much does beauty school typically cost? I know going to a community college I would get 2500 a semester in grant money but I don’t know how that works for beauty school. Help!!
First of all, you can work and go to school as a mother (plenty of us do). You can fill out your fafsa. If the school is listed on the fafsa then it’s accredited and you may qualify for federal and/or state grants, if not – then you need to find a different school or take out student loans.

Beauty salon schools
I’m going to be attending the esthetics program in beauty school in January, and I want to set myself up for success. The more I know about the industry, the better I’ll feel. Do spa’s or salons take on apprentices or anything?
Thanks so much!
